How we use information
Your information is used to process orders, confirm Paystack payments, arrange delivery, send order confirmation and payment-status emails, answer support requests, prevent fraud, improve the storefront, and keep order records for customer service and accounting.
Payments
Customer checkout is routed through Paystack. Card, transfer, and other Paystack payment details are handled by Paystack. IO2 Store stores payment status, gateway name, transaction reference, Paystack webhook records, and payment response data needed to confirm an order, review failed payments, and prevent duplicate processing. We do not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes.
Order and email updates
We may use your email address and phone number to send order confirmations, failed-payment notices, delivery updates, support replies, and admin/customer service notifications connected to your order.
Sessions and cookies
The website uses sessions to keep your cart, checkout state, wishlist, and login state working as you move through the store.
Sharing
We share information only where needed to provide the service, including payment processing through Paystack, delivery, hosting, email delivery, support, fraud prevention, accounting, or where required by law.
Retention
Order, payment, webhook, and delivery records may be retained for business, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal reasons. Support messages and reviews are kept only as long as needed for service, moderation, and operational records.
Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a review of personal information where applicable. Some records may need to be retained where required for completed orders, payment verification, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
